DCG Software Value, a provider of software analytics, agile support services and software quality management has merged with a business and technology consulting firm, Spitfire Group in a transaction overseen by Madison Street Capital. According to a report published on PR.com, Madison Street Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor of DCG Software Value, which also provides function point analysis and estimation software. The Denver based, Spitfire Group is at the forefront of helping clients align business objectives and technology initiatives. The transaction, which was led by MSC’s Jay Rodgers, was announced by the Madison Street Capital CEO, Mr. Charles Botchway. The terms of the deal were, however, not disclosed to the press.
The management teams from both companies were led by their respective CEO’s, Mr. Mike Harris of DCG Software Value and Mr. Mark Richtermeyer of the Spitfire Group. Jay Rodgers played a crucial role of providing powerful analysis and thoughtful insight. Mr. Harris Mark restated that he will continue to work closely with Mark and the resourceful MSC team to establish more ways of helping client’s grow their software value. Immediately after the announcement, Charles Botchway termed the Mike Harris and Mark Richtermeyer as exceptional CEO’s and leading business IT industry leaders committed to growth. He added that the inking of the merger deal provided a great opportunity for his firm to demonstrate its expertise.
